Our network

It bangs, it bangs. Oh baby when it moves, it moves... packets. A truckload of them.

We know data.

We've been heavily involved in the Aussie ISP space for over a decade. We've been there, done that, seen what to do - and what not to do. While still a small carrier, we've learnt all about who to work with - and who to steer clear of.

We also know voice.

We run our own soft switches, and have engineers who hold certifications with Alcatel-Lucent, Avaya, Cisco, Samsung, Ribbon, and other tier one voice products. We mean business, and we're not here to sell you someone else's dog food.

So, what's your point?
We only select the most optimal routes for your packets. Hence, our major transit paths include infrastructure from:
  • Virtutel
  • DataMossa
  • Global Secure Layer
  • PCCW
  • Hurricane Electric
  • OnQ
  • NextHop
  • Telstra (for domestic traffic)
We've hand selected our layer 2 aggregation partners, being the legends over at:
  • Virtutel (NBN)
  • Opticomm (select enabled areas)
  • Hyperwave (fixed wireless)
Jitter
Latency
After over a year of testing and validation (a.k.a swearing), we have implemented a network platform from our friends at Supermicro & 6WIND which offers unrivalled performance and exceptionally low power consumption. The planet matters (and we actually give a sh*t).
I still don't know why you're telling me this?

These statistics are here for the nerds - let's be real. But if you're just a little bit curious, jitter is the variation in the time it takes for data packets to travel across an internet provider's network. Essentially, it's a metric of how consistent our network is. Jitter can lead to problems like lag, delays, and other disruptions in things like online gaming, video calls, and VoIP.

Bottom line - we've built our network around performance for a better end-user experience. We've checked under the bed, in the closet, and all the dark corners to protect our customers from the things that make for a bad internet service.

We're controversial because we can afford to be - we have the expertise to back it up. Our network is an open book. Something missing? Contact us.
